Caldwell County is partnering with CAMPO to conduct a corridor study along West San Antonio Street from SH 130 to Colorado Street (US 183) to identify transportation needs and recommend long-term safety and mobility improvements.


This area of Lockhart has seen significantresidential and commercial growth, with more development on the horizon. The study will evaluate roadway conditions, traffic patterns, and safety considerations to identify improvements that better accommodate future travel demand.

SCHEDULE

STUDY: 2025 — 2026

The study will begin with an evaluation of the existing corridor to determine current capacity and future needs. Planning efforts are expected to start in late 2025 and conclude by early 2026. All timelines are estimates and will be updated as the project progresses.
