Who is putting your bond dollars to work?

THE COUNTY
Caldwell County will oversee the planning, design, and construction of transportation improvements across the county. This includes managing contracts, ensuring financial accountability, and coordinating with local and state agencies to deliver road, bridge, and safety projects efficiently and transparently.
AGENCIES AND JURISDICTIONS
Caldwell County will work closely with local jurisdictions and state agencies to ensure bond projects are coordinated, efficient, and meet regional needs. These partnerships will help avoid delays, leverage additional funding, and ensure improvements are built to county standards.
GEC
The General Engineering Consultant (GEC) acts as an extension of Caldwell County staff, making sure projects are well planned, designed properly, stay on schedule, and use bond dollars efficiently. The GEC also works with local jurisdictions, state agencies, and contractors to keep things running smoothly. They also help to keep the public informed throughout this process
DESIGN CONSULTANTS
The design consultant plays a key role in bringing each bond project to life. From early planning and engineering to final construction support, they help design improvement, prepare bid documents, and assist with oversight to ensure projects are built safely, efficiently, and on budget. They also support public communications to keep the community informed every step of the way.
