Caldwell County is partnering with CAMPO to conduct a corridor study along SH 80, spanning from the County line in San Marcos to Magnolia Avenue (US 183) in Luling.


The SH 80 Corridor Study will assess existing conditions, traffic patterns, and roadway safety to recommend capacity and safety improvements along the corridor.


As Caldwell County experiences significant growth, proactive planning is essential to maintain efficient travel times and support future mobility.

PURPOSE

  • Identify opportunities to enhance roadway safety and improve mobility for future growth


SCHEDULE

STUDY: 2025 — 2027

The study will begin with an evaluation of the existing corridor to determine current capacity and future needs. Planning efforts are expected to begin in late 2025 and conclude in early 2027. All timelines are estimates and will be updated as the project progresses.
