This project will design improvements to FM 2720 to enhance safety and mobility as this area of Caldwell County continues to grow. The project will follow CR 153 (Grist Mill Rd.) from SH 21 to Old Spanish Trail, then continues along a new alignment to FM 2720. The final alignment for the new route has not been determined.

IMPROVEMENTS

• Extending the roadway to connect directly to Grist Mill Road

• Repaving CR 153 (Grist Mill Rd.) from SH 21 to Old Spanish Trail

• Widening the roadway to include two-foot shoulders on both sides

• Installing a traffic signal at the SH 21 intersection
