
City Line Road

This project will design and construct improvements to City Line Road from SH 142 to Old Fentress Road to enhance safety and improve mobility as this area of the County continues to grow. The existing roadway includes one lane in each direction without shoulders.
IMPROVEMENTS
Reconstructing and widening the roadway to include:
A continuous center turn lane
A sidewalk and shared-use path (SUP) for pedestrians and bicyclists
Realigning the roadway where it meets SH 142 to align with Windsor Boulevard at a four-way intersection
Realigning the intersection at Maple Street to a four-way intersection
COST: $15.9M

This project may require additional right of way in order to complete construction. Once design is underway, a better estimate of right-of-way needs will be determined.
SCHEDULE
DESIGN: 2025 — 2027
CONSTRUCTION: 2027 — 2029
Current traffic, drainage, and environmental features will be evaluated, along with community input, to inform project design. Design is expected to be completed by early 2027, with construction anticipated to begin by late 2027. All timelines are estimates and will be updated as the project progresses.
