The project will plan, design, and construct new drainage infrastructure and roadway improvements on CR 140/Wattsville Road, where it meets Copperas Creek, to provide a safe crossing. The existing low-water crossing includes culverts and one deteriorating 10-foot lane in each direction without shoulders, within approximately 40 feet of right of way.

RIGHT OF WAY

This project may require additional right of way to complete construction. Once design is underway, a better estimate of right-of-way will be determined.

SCHEDULE

DESIGN: 2025 — 2027

CONSTRUCTION: 2028 — 2029

The existing low-water crossing will be evaluated to determine its existing capacity and future needs. Design is expected to be completed by mid-2027, with construction anticipated to begin in early 2028. Construction will be phased over approximately 12 months. All timelines are estimates and will be updated as the project progresses.
